Sub :  Indifferent & reluctant approach of MTNL management towards maintaining  Industrial peace by not resolving the burning issues of Executives’ who are protesting for a long time.

Sir,

            We are constrained to say that thousands of Executives are protesting against the arbitrary and unilateral decision of implementation of Pay Revision Report, with only 5% fitment and decision to cap HRA at Dec 2006 level, by MTNL management but instead of finding solution through dialogue in a peaceful manner, the management chose to turn deaf ears towards ongoing unrest in MTNL, which shows that MTNL management is not at all having any concern about the survival of MTNL as well as services to our esteemed customers.

             Now our first phase of protest programme has completed on 15.04.2009 but till date management has not initiated any dialogue process for resolving the issues. This unfortunate situation is compelling the Executives of MTNL Delhi & Mumbai to resort to 2^nd phase of protest, which may not be in the interest of MTNL and management will be squarely responsible for this. 

            Therefore your goodself is once again requested to resolve the ongoing burning issues of implementation of Pay Package with 30 % fitment & 78.2% DA without HRA capping as per the DPE orders. We hope that good senses will prevail upon MTNL management & our all issues will be sorted through dialogues soon otherwise we will be left with no other alternative but to intensify our ongoing Protest Programme.
