Sub: Postponement of indefinite strike call w.e.f. 23.12.08

Sir,

In view of the assurances given by Secretary(T) in the presence of CMD BSNL and Director(HRD), BSNL, in the meeting on 19^th December 08 with the representatives of United Forum of BSNL/ MTNL Executive Association, conveyed vide letter no. BSNL/7-8/SR/2008 dated 19.12.08, it has been decided to postpone the rally proposed on 22^nd December 2008 and indefinite strike proposed to be held w.e.f. 23^rd December 2008 respectively.

We believe that the assurances contained in the said letter would be upheld in letter and spirit.
