Sub :    Formation of  Joint Committee for Implementation of Pay revision report for Executives.

Sir,

            We are thankful to the management for the formation of joint committee of Management & Association representatives for implementation of pay revision orders for Executives. The committee letter was issued by the management on 21.12.2009 & It was agreed in the meeting held on dated 19.12.09 that, the above committee will be time bound and will have to conclude the discussions, and submit the report by 31.12.2009.

The first meeting of the committee was held on dated 23.12.09 & the discussion was held wherein the information were shared regarding how to implement new wage for MTNL Executives with 30 % fitment. During the discussion we have come to know that chairman of the committee is proceeding on leave & will be back in first week of January 2010. The DGM(HR) informed us that the next meeting will be held on or after 6.1.2010. This information has shocked us.

Sir, we are sorry to mention here that, the management is adopting the casual approach in resolving the implementation of wage revision report.

We, therefore request to your goodself to expedite the matter, so that the issue can be resolved by the target date.
