Minutes of the Meeting held with CMD, MTNL

Sh. V.K. Tomar, GS, MEA met the CMD, MTNL on 18.8.2009 and
discussed various issues listed below:1. The Pension file returned to DoT with some objection. CMD assured to take up the matter again with the Govt and assured to resolve the issue.
2. The new pay scale implementation issue has again come up with old slogan with 5 % fitment which is being turned down with single voice. We have demanded that we can only agree with 30% fitment.
3. The transfer issue of 12 DE's and 4 CAO's from Delhi to Mumbai was also discussed in length. We have softened the attitude of CMD.. Some more efforts are needed in this regard. The affected members are requested to have patience.
4. The viability of MTNL was also discussed in legth. The Association has put forward its views and the same were taken by CMD with positive note.
Members are requested to gear them up to face any kind of challenges in the days to come.
