10.11.12 Meeting of Joint Forum of BSNL & MTNL Unions & Associations was held on 8-11-12 at Telephone House, Prabhadevi. The Office Bearers of following Unions & Associations were present TEAM, MEA, SNEA(I), AIBSNLEA, MTNL Karmachari Front, BSNLEU, MTNL Workers' Union, RTMWA, MSCTEA, BMTNEU, MTNL Karmachari Union, NFTE BSNL,SCSTEWA. Many issues were discussed & following decisions were taken.

(1) Date of Rally at Mumbai was changed in consultation with Joint Forum CHQ New Delhi from 22-11-12 to 27-11-12 due to festive season/holidays & reportedly non availability of Governor in Mumbai on 22-11-12.

(2) The Rally at Mumbai will start at 2-00 PM on 27-11-12 from August Kranti Maidan, Grant Road-west.

(3) Com.M.S Adsul & Com. R.A.Rajapure were elected as Chairman & Convenor of Joint Forum respectively & Convenor was authorised to sign all the correspondence of Joint Forum.

To make Rally on 27-11-12 a great success it was decided to conduct meetings at area level during Lunch Hour. The dates are as follows:-

19-11-12 - South Fountain

19-11-12 - Central Cumbala Hill

20-11-12 - North Wadala

21-11-12 - W-1 BDR&BKC

22-11-12 - W-2 Goregoan

23-11-12 - W-3 Kandivli  

24-11-12 - E-1 Nityanand Nagar

24-11-12 - E-2 Thane Charai      

26-11-12 - NM Vashi

29.10.2012 Circle Executive Committee of TEAM Mumbai met today at Class Room, Telephone House, Prabhadevi for the first time after the new circle body was elected through the representative council on 11.10.2012. After brief introduction of new Head Quarters and Circle Office bearers Com. J.S.Yadav, CS, TEAM, Mumbai thanked the house for their contribution in making the CHQ Conference and Open Session a Grant Success. After Com. Shri. Jeyanath presented expenditure related to the conference Com. J.S.Yadav requested all present to collect the Subscription and Conference fee from all the members and make good the expenses at the earliest. He also requested all members to speed up collection for Souvenir which is pending.  

Since area level office bearers are not adequately represented the house approved induction of three more post of ACS. After discussion the house unanimously approved induction of Com. S.S.Jagtap for looking after activities at HQ, Prabhadevi, Com. Prem Kumar for representing Stenographers and Com. Lal for Central Zone activities. Com. J.S.Yadav mentioned that other areas calling for attention can be represented by induction of CWC members at appropriate time.

While discussing on the seniority issue Com. J.S.Yadav informed the house that the interest of all will have to be secured. We are proceeding on the correct path and promotion to all similarly placed will be ensured through judicial route.

Speaking on the organizational matter Com. R.R.Mishra, Jt GS, TEAM requested all members present to speed up formation of Area and Divisional body at all area. The house jointly decided to have new Area body before end of December, 2012. All members are requested to arrange area level meeting and form the new body at the earliest.
