Subject:  Non co operation programme w.e.f  18-05-09 in protest of MTNL orders of 5% fitment with HRA capping.

 R/sir,

As you are aware that executives of MTNL are protesting for last about two months because of not implementing 30% fitment with out HRA capping.   But, instead of implementing Govt orders of 30% fitment as per DPE OM dated 26-11-2008, MTNL management chose to go ahead with 5% fitment with HRA capping. This act of management has further escalated the resentment of executives and industrial unrest in MTNL.

All the executives of MTNL Delhi & Mumbai has condemned this act of management and resolved to intensify protest action in support of our demand of 30% fitment with out HRA capping.

Therefore, we have decided to resort to NON- COOPERATION w.e.f 18-05-2009 besides our earlier programmes of Rally to PM office, Mass casual leave and WORK to RULE.
